Welcome to Lifespring Church

Welcome to Lifespring Church

Our mission is to carry out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. These are the two pillars we have built the ministry of Lifespring on - loving God and loving people:

  • Luke 10:27 commands us to: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’"
  • Matthew 28:19 commands us to: “go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Our Vision is to see a church of passionate, devoted, productive lovers of God who are connected in vibrant relationship to other people with the desire to establish and extend the Kingdom of God through serving.

The strategy of Lifespring Church is to SHARE  the Good News of Jesus Christ with our community and our world. Our many and varied ministries are intentionally designed to CONNECT people to Christ and to His Church and to help people GROW in the love for God and the likeness of Christ through worship, fellowship, and discipleship. We EQUIP our members for service and SEND  them to spread the Good News of Jesus.

Lifespring is an Assemblies of God Church and we are part of the Breakthrough network of churches.

We offer a wide variety of services, especially to families.  We have an extensive Youth and Children’s Ministry which includes Sunday Church, Performing Arts Group. Parent and Toddler, Kool Kids and Ignition youth club. We run specific ministries for adult men and women.  We are a “Seven-day-a-week” church - offering room rental and a community cafe (through our sister Charity "Global")

Lifespring is known for its warm. welcoming and relational atmosphere.  There is an emphasis on spiritual growth and biblical teaching.  Finally, Lifespring connects people into small groups where real growth, caring and fellowship can happen.  We are a church that strives to “grow larger by growing smaller.”

Lifespring  began in 2000 as a church plant from  Sherwood Forest Community Church in Blidworth. In 2005 we joined with Dukeries Christian Fellowship and moved to our permanent location on Sherwood Drive. In 2011/2012 we redeveloped the site and our resources now include a 200-seat auditorium, a Training room. Meeting room, entrance lounge, kitchen and cafe.
