1 God Loves You!

We live in a broken world.  However, God’s original design for the world and humans was perfect in the beginning.

The problem is that...

2 We chose to go our own way

We rebelled against God’s perfect design and decided to go our own way and live without God.  That is what the Bible calls “sin”.  Sin is what led to our brokenness.  We don’t like to be broken, so we try to get out - by climbing the ladder of success, helping people, taking drugs or alcohol, gambling, and relationships.  None of these actually work.

However, the good news is that,

3 Jesus provided the only way out

God sent His own Son down from Heaven; He allowed himself to be killed on a cross, taking on our sin in order to heal our brokenness.  Three days later, He rose from the dead and He is alive today.

4 Turn to Christ and Believe

If you are still in brokenness, God wants you to turn from living your own way and believe with all your heart that Jesus died and rose again for your sins.  If you do that and then say with your mouth that you have surrendered to Jesus, God declares that you will be forgiven, made new, receive peace and begin to experience God’s perfect design for your life here and in eternity.

4 Pray a simple prayer with Faith

"Lord Jesus, I agree with you that sin has led to my brokenness and that Jesus Christ your Son died on the cross and rose again from the dead  to forgive and heal me. I now turn from going my own way and chose to live your way.  You are the “Boss” of my life.  Thank you for forgiving me and giving me the gift of eternal life.  Amen”.
